For the eleventh year, Contender Boats has donated a boat to benefit the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida. On Nov. 16, one winner will take home a brand new 2024 Contender 28T Center Console.
“We are excited to continue supporting the efforts of CCA across the state,” said Joe Neber, owner and president of Contender Boats. “Their efforts have been instrumental in protecting our playgrounds and helping to ensure that they will be around for generations to come.”
This semi-custom sportfishing boat comes complete with twin Yamaha 200HP outboards and a custom Ameratrail tandem-axle aluminum trailer.

The drawing will be held on Nov. 16, 2023, at the CCA Dade County Banquet at Shake-A-Leg Miami. The winner will be chosen live on stage in a random drawing. The winner does not need to be present to win.
“Our efforts would not be possible without partners like Contender that continue to support our initiatives,” said Brian Gorski, executive director of CCA Florida. “Our fundraising efforts allow us to fund projects such as habitat restorations, artificial reefs, shoreline stabilizations along with the restocking of clams, oysters, redfish and seatrout, and more.”
