Its highly responsive magnetic eddy current system seamlessly adjusts, providing precisely the right amount of force in proportion to your casting speed, virtually eliminating the need to thumb the spool with every cast and effectively reducing backlashes. The lack of magnetic braking force being applied while the spool is engaged provides a completely “free” feel while reeling.
