Last week, Mark Copley accepted the director of marketing position for Xpress Boats and Veranda Luxury Pontoons. Copley enters the role with a robust resume brimming with fishing industry experience after spending three years as with Rather Outdoors.
“Well when you think you have God’s plan figured out, he surprises you and continues to shape, change, and mold you,” Copley said. “We thought we were in the long haul for South Carolina, but God had other plans. I am officially the new Director of Marketing for Xpress Boats and Veranda Marine. Our family will be moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and will be within a short drive back to Memphis where the big majority of our family is. What an honor to be in a position where I am following in the footsteps of a great friend, Clay Connor, who did incredible things here—to work for a family-owned company that appreciates their employees and to be back in the industry I love. So thank you and goodbye to the 803, and hello to the 501. We are excited to be here. To God be all the glory.”
Copley also previously spent over 12 years with Strike King Lure Co., and currently serves as the marketing director for the South Carolina Waterfowl Association.
