“We learned that the buoyancy and thickness of the leader, as well as the salinity of the water, are all factors with a major impact on the sink rate of a lure,” said Adam Ott, product manager for Savage Gear. “It took meticulous testing and six iterations before we got the sink rate on the sinking and the slow-sinking Manic Shrimp, respectively, right. We learned how important this factor is to trigger the bite from several species.”
The lure’s custom Toughtec soft plastic body can withstand rigorous all-day fishing conditions, ensuring it remains in top form all season long.
