Smith’s Celebrates Growing Portfolio at Pitman Creek’s Fall Show


Smith’s Sporting Group is gearing up for the annual Pitman Creek Fall Dealer Show, scheduled for Oct. 14-16, 2023. Pitman Creek, the nation’s leading distributor of fishing tackle, represents 300 different brands and serves more than 8,000 retail locations. They have recently expanded their partnership with Smith’s Sporting Group.

This Kentucky-based wholesaler has deep roots in the bass segment and made headlines with its modern 205,000-square-foot distribution facility in Stanford. They have also amassed a wide range of saltwater and inshore products for their retail partners.

Pitman Creek’s Fall Dealer Show introduces the newest tackle and fishing assortments, kicking off on Saturday, Oct. 14, with the Creek Cup bass tournament pairing pro anglers with representatives of tackle retailers and manufacturers. Additionally, there will be a golf scramble on Saturday sponsored by Smith’s Sporting Group.

The show floor at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee, will be open Oct. 15-16. Smith’s Consumer Products will be on display at booth 505, and dealers in attendance will cast their votes for the winners in the prestigious Overall Best of Show product categories.
